Collection: 1953 Icons Vintage Dive Watches

1953 marked the year the first modern dive watch was born. Created for the French Naval divers, the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms was the first watch with a unidirectional bezel - crucial for diver safety.

While designed in 1953, the first Rolex Submariner didn’t come to market until ‘54. Several versions were created, but the watch wasn’t made famous until Sean Connery wore a reference 6538 Sub as James Bond in the classic spy movie, “Dr. No.”

Two amazing pieces of timekeeping history, custom made for you!
